Roger Powell collection, undated.

The collection consists of a bound volume with a focus on Loudoun county marriages. There is a small amount of loose material that appears to be Powell's notes. The information in the volume is written in longhand with first names abbreviated. In addition to marriages dates, in many cases birth and death dates for the bride and groom are also recorded. Their parents' names are noted, with the mother's maiden name included. Information contained in the volume covers the years 1790-1996; the years during which the volume was actually created and updated by Powell are uncertain.
